You asked a very professional question — if there’s no added fragrance, why does it smell so strong?

I totally understand, because one time a female customer smelled our #Kyara No.1 (伽罗一号) and her expression was really surprised and disbelief — she kept asking,
“No fragrance added… but why is it so aromatic? Are you sure it’s 100% pure agarwood?”

Yes — it is pure agarwood.

The reason it smells “so fragrant” is not because of artificial perfume, but because we use high-grade natural agarwood materials with high resin/oil content.
High-resin agarwood releases a much richer, fuller, and more layered aroma when burned — very different from the “sharp, perfumey” smell of added fragrance.

Why does pure agarwood smell so strong?

Because of the quality and resin level of the raw material.

Our premium incense sticks are made from high-end agarwood raw materials, often costing 4 to 5 digits per kilogram.
This is completely different from lower-grade materials that may cost only a few hundred per kilogram. The aroma depth, cleanness, and layering are simply not comparable.
